  2. Put yourself in their shoes, including their thoughts and feelings.
  3. Delight them. Go the extra mile.
  4. Respond to them in a timely fashion.
  5. Keep them informed about the status of what you are doing for them.
  6. Admit and then fix your mistakes.
  7. Listen and respect what they are telling you … even the bad news.
  8. Be patient.
  9. Keep your promises and commitments.
  10. Smile … inside and out!

    These are excellent tips!

    There is one thing that I noticed that you need to do in order to satisfy your customers: Make a clear scope for any project.

    In many cases an unclear scope triggers a lot of issues and can infuriate your customers (The “I thought this was part of the project” usual argument).
