George Zimmerman killed Trayvon Martin. He deprived this young man and his family and friends of happiness and a future.
Both sides are emotional, and rightfully so. However, emotional reactions should not prevent us from justice being served. Zimmerman may be guilty. He also may be innocent. Also, emotions should not cause anyone to threaten Zimmerman’s and his family with harm.
Emotions colour our lives — and should be encouraged, enjoyed and celebrated. But they shouldn’t be allowed to conquer clear thinking, objective and dispassionate decision-making.
Do the right thing! Pay it forward. Together, let’s make a positive difference.
